The Law of Substitution- replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. Seems easy enough but, not as easy as one may think. However, I must say that this time around did prove easier than the first two. See, I’ve gone on the Mental Diet before in Go90Grow, Think and Grow Rich. This time, however, was a little bit easier. I don’t think it was because the third time is a charm…it wasn’t that easy! No, I think this time it was because of the weeks before and having to have no opinions, reciting the Law of Giving and Scroll II…Greeting each day with LOVE! These things, collectively, made the Mental Diet this week much easier. Yes, I still had to restart several times but, not as many and I found myself replacing negative thoughts much quicker and also not having them at all. So, I’m on the road to seven consecutive days!
Our other new task for the week was the audio recording. This was actually more difficult for me than the Mental Diet. First, trying to think of a song to use that would aid in the message sinking in was a task. I am still working on this assignment. I have narrowed the songs to 2; I think I may do a recording of each and see which one resonates more or just use both of them as they are very different songs and have very different meanings for me. So, one is more meditative and prayerful while the other is more just a song that I like but, has deep, strong emotions for me. I don’t really like the sound of my own voice so this audio recording will take some getting used to but, I see the connections that are being formed so I’m excited to see if this aids in making the connections stronger.

Congrats on the diet… I had a good day for the first time! It’s much harder than I thought! How did the recording go?
Great that you are seeing the links!! Repeat after me, “I love the sound of my voice! My voice is beautiful music to my ears!” 🙂 Nice job!
It’s nice to hear you’re having success with the mental diet. I am yet to make it through 7 days myself but each day I learn new lessons and continue moving forward.
